This artwork was inspired by the comedienne Hannah Gadsby. She is hilarious!! the text is a quote from one of her live shows entitled “Kiss me quick I’m full of jubes”
I hand drew the image and text in fine line pen, made a screen of it and then screen printed a number of hand cut and sewn tea towels. I love the graphic look and the skull mixed with knitting needles.
I’m off to see Hannah tonight at the Adelaide Fringe and I can’t wait.
I’ll take you step by through the process of screen printing some other time.
